Answer 1 of 5: Dear all, this is a recap of my trip to Venezuela. First of all, thank Isla Margarita, has nice beaches, but over-all with 'la ley seca' was mediocre!

Trump es el primer presidente que "trata de dividirnos", afirm贸 James Mattis - Noticias Telemundo

Review of Venezuela. The fastest food in my life! Anyway, for us was a waste of time. The best place we visited and for me the only excuse to go back to Venezuela. The weather was kind to us and we tried to advance our travel plans to add in Caracas. We do find a frog. Forcing an unwanted overnight stopover, oddly enough in a hotel also part of their group, and a second overnight, again in their Casa Real Suites 鈥 neither of which we wanted to do. Angel Falls overfly Carlos, our pilot piloto hotmail. The Venezuelan way of doing business though was kind of vague in some parts so we had to have our mind on the plans and for what we had actually paid for. A lot of traffic jam in Caracas. We had kind of arranged the Canaima tour with Sapitotours, but with a country facing the worst dry season for the last yrs we rescheduled. Everything was happening in a rush on this jeep safari. The only actual place someone can walk is the Altamira area, which is well protected since most of the city richness is gathered there. We also did the Safari trip with Marcos. The motorbikes and all drive like hell's angels and taxi-drivers didn't let us bring down the window one time for the fear of day-light robbery with 'pistolas' - guns. I am obliged though to share my perspective and point of view on all those that we came across acually by being there. Nice place, nice beaches, hard sun, nice people, safe place, un-tasty lobster, nice for couples and ok with friends to be there, with a few things to do during the night. Then, it was Orinoco Delta. Our driver was Diego and was a nice guy, even though he was in a hurry too. We came across some tour operators in the airport and tried to organize from there. Beware, the helicopter virtually has a taxi meter for charging, make sure you are not short changed; they seem keen to give you very short minutes in flight. Nice thing may someone might think, but if you had the sense of hurry we had during the whole jeep safari, you would reconsider. Theatro club was nice, and the panoramic bar in Altamira Suits loft, is not, mostly because it doesn't offer a nice view and is also very lounge and quiet with less luxury as mentioned in the forum. At least done the way we did it. For all of the lumpiness of the experience it was one of the most thrilling trips we have made. Oh, and please ignore the safety hysteria. Be prepared 3h in advance to move to the airport since all people go to the beach, especially on a Carnival Sunday. We stayed at the Delta lodge, owned by a Palestinian very nice guy, with very friendly staff surrounding him. David at the bar and Alex on the boat Hope i have the chance to visit that place again. We did see some big part of the island, but i guess we could hire a car and visit all those places on our own, on a more relaxed basis, since all were accessible without a driver. Impossible to traverse. Go there, take picture, stay 15 minutes, go. A very nice place, with friendly staff and good food, right on the lagoon and next to the indian village, where we got to play bingo with the westernised natives. The freshest, sweetest conch - ever! The most popular sentence we kept on hearing was 'don't go there, is dangerous'. Our guide Bennet gomezbenito hotmail. We nearly lost our flight because of that. Where else is an odd half hour out of sync? Rock, sparse vegetation, water pools, orchids, carnivorous plants seeking the few insects, the odd butterfly, and the endemic black frog the size of your little finger nail. At first we were to stay at Waku lodge, but for some reason, and as it proved for the better, we were moved without notice -venezuelan way- to Camp. Anyway, as I say, Venezuela is like no other. Our guides were not very solicitous in escorting us on the one hour trek to the falls viewpoint in quite difficult dense jungle conditions - well actually they abandoned us! No Turtles during February. In utter silence, swirling mists reveal, then obscure, rocks eroded by the constant wind and rain over millennia into bizarre and seemingly impossible, gravity defying shapes. Waste of time to my opinion. Los Roques The freshest, sweetest oysters - ever! Things to Do.{/INSERTKEYS}{/PARAGRAPH} Then the food. First of all, thank you all for your info and advises before my trip. Feels like you are in a national geographic documentary. And not at all that vibrant at night. Really special place indeed. By driving the country we had the chance to see the changes in scenery, driving from Bolivar state to the Gran Sabana and the borders with Brazil. As soon as we reached the Punta Arenas beach, the food was there on a plate waiting to be served. Nothing you are hoping will happen is guaranteed, either at the appointed time 鈥 or ever. Nice guy Marcos, but overall, we had been put in a jeep with spanish spoken people and the driver did not speak any english at all. However, many unexpected things will Combined with the paucity of online info to enable trip planning we decided to use Cacao Travel as the booking agent for our entire two week trip. Just to see, you understand! Isla Margarita, has nice beaches, but over-all with 'la ley seca' was mediocre! Cacao Travel apparently were unable to secure one single hotel room in Caracas for us? Teasingly, Bennet tells us when we find one it indicates the rain will close in forcing us to overnight there till the helicopter can return, so emergency sleeping bags are stowed under a rock, along with a bottle of brandy to ward off the 8c temperature at night. {PARAGRAPH}{INSERTKEYS}Venezuela is like no other. The freshest, sweetest lobster - ever! To be honest, by the end of our time in Margarita Island we were ready to get on a plane and go to Jamaica, Aruba or Cuba to relax, but then we went to Puerto Ordaz, giving nature a chance. The jeep safari lasted 8h but the real off-road lasted only for min when we visited the beach were turtles show up and lay eggs during Aug-Nov. There is no point visiting a city if you cannot walk around and mingle with the people. A quiet bar, and a quiet club! Canaima was next with very nice scenery and the feeling of the Chezna plane easy to handle. They carry it from the sea before your very eyes! I really have a lot more to say, but even though i said to my self i was going to write only the downsides of the journey, couldn't held my mind from jumping to the good parts Thank you for your time and keep the info real!!! Dear all, this is a recap of my trip to Venezuela. Nice posada the Cayo Luna where we stayed, and generally nice over-all for ending your vacation before you go back to the wintery Europe! We ended up arranging our plan with a fluent english speaking person, named Guillermo working for an agency there which colaborate with Kuruvaina tours. I admit Guillermo was a very nice guy, passionate for his work and really wanting for us to have a good time. Then it was, Ciudad Bolivar, that Colonial town where all started to come into shape after the Gran Colombia Again the old 'don't go there, is dangerous' moto! Dear friends, i think this sums up my trip to Venezuela.!. More like Pandora than anything on Earth. Then a short flight over to Roraima. Base camp is hammocks under cover but open air. Tiuna, our tour avoid at all costs! Not much party going on when clubs close at All nightlife is in Pampatar, in clabs Yayoyo, Beach bar.. The road trip to Santa Elena de Uairen was about 7h. Log in to get trip updates and message other travelers. I was ok with that, but my friends not, since they didn't happen to speak the language. Finally, Los Roques. The law of Chavez, by which all alcohol stops being served by 12 at night during the Carnival season. Valhalla rainbows. Senior Frog was closed due to some pistola shooting that took place one night some time end of I Really enjoyed Playa Pargito with nice fish to be served right on the beach, Playa Guacuco was ok too and Bahia de Pampatar looked nice as well. We decided the points of interest, they joined up the dots. Nightlife in Caracas Nobody said anything before going or mentioned 'la ley seca'! The Restinga Park quite boring to be honest. Tepuy lodge.
